NOTICE TO STUDENTS – Financial support for student - tenants (€152.00 per Month; quota: 906 students)

Students who have been awarded financial support for accommodation with private landlords (subsidy) under the Call for Applications for Subsidised Accommodation in Student Dormitories, specifically in dormitories scheduled to undergo reconstruction, in the amount of €152.00 per month (quota of 906 students), have been notified electronically.

Students who have been awarded financial support for student tenants in the amount of €152.00 per month are requested to upload a certificate/confirmation of residence in Grad Zagreb or Zagrebačka županija, issued by the Ministry of the Interior (MUP), and confirmation of their bank account to their personal web profile. This must be done before signing the contract. Students who are unable to upload the required documents are requested to present them in person at the Office for Student Accommodation, Tourism and Sports (Savska cesta 25) when signing the contract.

Students who have been awarded financial support for accommodation with private landlords (subsidy) under the Call for Applications for Subsidised Accommodation in Student Dormitories, specifically in dormitories scheduled to undergo reconstruction, in the amount of €152.00 per month (quota of 906 students), will enter into an agreement setting out the mutual rights and obligations of the parties with the University of Zagreb Student Centre.

Contracts must be signed from 12 October 2026 to 26 October 2026, inclusive, at the Office for Student Accommodation, Tourism and Sports, on weekdays between 08:00 and 15:00.

Students who fail to sign the contract by the specified deadline will be considered to have forfeited their right to financial support for accommodation with private landlords. When signing the contract, students must present their student ID card (X-card) or personal identity card.

Pursuant to the Decision on the Amount of Subsidies and the Quota for Subsidised Accommodation for the 2026/2027 Academic Year, issued by the Ministarstvo znanosti, obrazovanja i mladih (KLASA: 602-01/26-03/00068; URBROJ: 533-04-26-0001), the total quota for accommodation with private landlords in Grad Zagreb and Zagrebačka županija is 906 students. This quota applies to students who were awarded accommodation in University of Zagreb Student Centre dormitories scheduled to undergo reconstruction. The subsidy amounts to €152.00 per month.
